Hey! I'm Dave 👋
and I want you to have a FREE print from my Collection!

The kitchen was loud, frantic, relentless and art was the first moment of peace.
For years, my life was built around heat, noise, and pressure.
Tickets piling up.
Timers screaming.
People shouting over each other just to be heard.
Every shift felt like a battle I had to survive, not a life I was actually living.
Somewhere in all that chaos, I stopped noticing how much of myself I’d lost.
I’d come home exhausted, drained, and numb, too tired to think, too wired to sleep.
Days blurred into weeks, weeks into years, and I couldn’t remember the last time I’d done something that felt like mine.
Then one night, after another shift that left me feeling like a ghost in my own life, I picked up a paintbrush again.
Not for a project.
Not for a goal.
Just… to breathe.
And for the first time in years, everything went quiet.
No shouting.
No rushing.
No pressure.
Just colour, movement, and a tiny moment of calm I didn’t realise I’d been starving for.
That moment changed everything.
Painting became the place I escaped to, the one part of my day where I wasn’t “the chef,” or “the guy who’s always working,” or “the one who never has time.” I was just me again.
And the more I painted, the more I realised something important:
If I needed that escape… maybe other people did too.
Now I create art for anyone who feels overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck in the noise of everyday life.
Art that gives you a moment of quiet.
A breath.
A lift.
A reminder that you’re allowed to slow down and feel something less serious.
Because if a few brushstrokes could help me find peace in the middle of all that chaos… maybe they can do the same for you.

Organised Chaos: Plated Mayhem collection
Every piece in Organised Chaos: Plated Mayhem comes from those years the long shifts, the double shifts, the moments you questioned everything, the moments you held it together because someone had to.
It’s the emotional weight of the kitchen, the humour you need to survive it, and the strange truth that even in the worst chaos, something beautiful can still come out of it.
These four dishes represent more than food.
They’re the story of a chef trying to make sense of a life lived in the kitchen and the journey of finally stepping out of it.
This collection is the bridge between the life I lived and the life I’m building now.
A reminder that even chaos can be transformed.
A reminder that leaving the kitchen doesn’t mean leaving the story behind.
And a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful things come from the messiest places.
Plated in chaos, served as art.

Becoming a full‑time artist is a new adventure for me, exciting but full of challenges.
I’m still growing, still finding my people, and still getting my work in front of the right eyes.
Giving away a free print helps me do exactly that.
It gets my art into real homes, on real walls, and into the hands of people who genuinely connect with what I create.
There’s something powerful about that.
Art is meant to be shared, not hidden away — and this offer lets me reach more people who feel the same spark of joy, nostalgia, and playfulness that I felt when I painted these pieces.

Dave Edwards is a british artist from Chester, UK.
He studied art from a very young age, having private art lessons from the age of 8.
He continued his studies through school and later on in college.
After travelling the world as a chef and the birth of his son, Dave decided it time to get back to his roots.
He primarily paints in acrylic and often spray paints, using solid colours and clean lines.
His intention is to provoke thought, joy and remind viewers of the beauty inherent in imagination.
